New product
This selected piece of reclaimed teak was found on the mountain hillside in Northern Thailand. We retained the natural beauty of it by carefully cleaning it prior to its first wood treatment.
The production of a dragon alone is a 7-step process as each step requires a cure time before being able to proceed with the next step.
There are no molds used at all to produce this stunning sculpture, if you look closely at the dragon scales, they are the size of a smaller size finger, yes that's right! The artisans ball up a piece of the wood powder paste, push it down with their finger and swipe it downward and repeating this process and using a sharp metal tool to add the fine details in the scales prior to it hardening.
A wood treatment, water base lacquer, acrylic dry brush hand painted method with a urethane finish coating for a terrific look.
We are the producers of the highest quality of wood powder sculptures. Closely working with the artisans in the villages and in the city at our facility includes design cutters, treatment and urethane sprayers, painters and quality check personnel. In turn it has provided an income for families in the village hillsides who prefer a more subtle and private life style as to those that are more open and prefer to work in the rural parts of Chiang Mai.
