Great Green Eagle Mobile for hanging inside or outside your home.
Watch this Eagle wings flap and spin around as the breeze passes through . Wood powder Sculptured Mobile Eagles are made starting with a paper inner lining and wire support inside, then hand sculptured from that point .Once completed and dried they are hand painted, then are dipped and sprayed with heavy lacquer to act as a protective coating from weather and gives the color enhancement and a glossy look.
The hanging stick doweling is made from the rubber tree and has a lacquer finish also. Holes are drilled for the wire line to go through the stick and also have a tapped hole at the top as the crimp which joins the line is counter sunk into the stick. The wire line used is 60lb test with a nylon coating. A fishing swivel is used at the top as the Eagle can spin 360 degrees with out getting tangled and giving the Eagle more action.
For hanging, connected to the swivel a golden color light alloy metal ring is used that can be twisted to open and close for connection to the desired location. Orange Eagles are 10 inches in length and the wings are 11 inches in length. Weight is approximately 340 grams as they are hand made and the all vary in shape and size and weight.
